The United States Green Vehicle Council (USGVC) is a non-profit organization with a mission to foster the technological, business development and deployment of electric vehicles that promote a clean and healthy environment for our present and future generations.

4. Complete Coach Works has been offered a vast array of solutions to meet the needs of public transportation needs for over 25 years. Complete Coach Works has remanufactured buses assemblies, completely overhauled and redesigned HVAC systems for transit buses.
5. SUTRAK is the leading producer of independently powered electric HVAC systems on transit buses and the largest distributor of Copeland 6HP horizontal scroll compressors in the United States. With over 30 years of domestic production, SUTRAK systems have been installed on virtually every major bus, LRV and APM OEM manufacturer in the United States.
6. Transportation Power, Inc. (TransPower) is an emerging leader in development and manufacturing of electric propulsion systems for buses and other heavy-duty vehicles. TransPower has already developed and demonstrated an electrically-driven accessory subsystem (EDAS) that enables bus and truck power steering, braking, and heating/ventilation/air conditioning (HVAC) accessories to be powered electrically with energy stored in a lithium ion battery pack.
7. Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) provides bus, light rail, and paratransit services, as well as participates as a funding partner in Santa Clara County rail service including Caltrain, Capitol Corridor, and the Altamont Corridor Express. VTA provides bus and rail service to approximately 140,000 passengers per day throughout the Santa Clara County.
8. Foothill Transit: operates 33 fixed-route local and express lines, covers 327 square miles, and serves 14 million customers each year. In FY 2011, the agency takes a bold step in zero-emission bus technology with the implementation of the first-of-its-kind all-electric Ecoliner. These vehicles are the first all-electric transit buses ever to utilize in-route fast charging capability, enabling them to remain in service throughout the day without having to leave the route to be charged before returning to service.
9. The San Joaquin Regional Transit District provides sustainable, accessible, community-focused transportation covering a service area of 1,426 square miles with a population of more than 670,000 people. SJRTD provides transportation services of a total of ridership of more than 4,073,000 per year. SJRTD continues the advancement of innovative transportation and alternative fuel technologies and was one of the first agencies have implemented the first electric transit buses in the California.
10. The Gardena Municipal Bus Lines (GMBL has a fleet of 33 diesel buses, 53 hybrid buses and 10 demand response vehicles. GMBL works with neighboring cities and the County of Los Angeles in a joint effort to develop and coordinate a functional regional transportation plan. Utilizing 40 peak hour buses, the GMBL is an integral part of the Los Angeles regional transit system. GMBL provides low cost, easily accessible public transportation for some 9,574 rides on an average weekday.
